Australian manufacturer Lithgow Arms have been producing Australia's small arms for over 100 years. From the SMLEs carried by the ANZACs through to the current ultra modern Austeyr SA2 rifle issued to Australian Defence Forces (ADF), Lithgow have a well established reputation for quality rifles.

Lithgow have produced a number of .22LR civilian bolt action rifles since WWII, though few made their way to the UK. However, recently their small arms team have turned their modern military manufacturing knowledge to produce two excellent rifles the LA101 Crossover rimfire and LA102 Crossover centrefire rifles.

Both rifles utilise established magazine designs from other manufacturers, the LA101 rimfire takes CZ magazines (cross compatible) and the LA102 is closely based on Tikka T3 format magazines.
