The WR Gas Mongrel Hybrid Rimfire muzzle brake is a specially scaled version of the innovative centrefire version using the same gas flow technology to make the most of .22 rimfire exhaust gas.
Putting class leading gas porting science to work for rimfire calibres allows maximum muzzle control in a lightweight brake that doesn't upset rifle balance.
The brake focuses entirely on minimising muzzle climb to give shooters the edge for rapid fire mini rifle and practical shooting, as well as timed PRS formats.

The Gas Mongrel Hybrid design is a culmination of years of research into muzzle brake gas flow modeling and barrel harmonics by a team with nearly two decades of fluid dynamics design and competition shooting experience. Unlike other designs which are more 'looks nice' art than science.
Like all WR brakes it avoids an integrated nut going over the body to avoid metal elasticity disturbances when heated, timing is via a half nut on the rear bushing.
