The Boonie Packer Better-Mag Adapter (BMA II) S&W .22 Rimfire Magazine Adaptor allows AR15 .22 shooters using CMMG format conversion kits or dedicated uppers to use S&W M&P 15-22 magazines, with their ultra reliable last round hold open activation and easy to load thumb assist.
S&W 15-22 magazines are slightly shorter front-to-back than regular AR-15 magazines, the adapter allows these to be fitted without wobble, while allowing the magazine rear follower lever to activate a regular AR-15 bolt hold open latching mechanism.
The Gen II adaptor is easily fitted without tools, simply insert into the magazine well and it locks in place with a spring loaded plunger. It won't come out when you operate the magazine release to drop mags, yet can be easily removed by firmly depressing the magazine release and pushing upwards and out when the lower is open.
CNC machined from 6061 aluminium alloy with case hardened 1018 steel components the adaptor is built to meet the same milspec requirements of the receiver it will be sitting in.
Will not work with the following lowers:
- Chiappa
- DPMS
- Kriss DMK
- Tactical Solutions
Please note the adapter is designed to work with CMMG format .22LR bolt conversion mechanisms which are common to many rifle builds.
It will not work with other AR-15 .22 bolt mechanisms such as CZ v22, M261, Colt, Bremmer Arms, Tippmann and Walther/Umarex.
