Guncraft actions accept this standard Black Dog type in many cases, however some prefer magazines fitted with Guncraft Custom Feedlips which were originally developed for Black Dog screw together magazines, before they moved to sonic welding.
We are pleased to offer a premade Guncraft 23 round magazine version, fitted with Guncraft lips at factory, available in black only.
One of our customers sent in some photos of a standard Black Dog mag he had DIY retro fitted with Guncraft Feedlips to see if it could be done. Thanks to Dave D for sharing, notes below:
- Cut through the top weld points (round pillar shapes in the plastic) with a scalpel
- Prise open the top half enough to swap out the feed lips
- Reseal with a strong epoxy glue
