A high grade aluminium detachable magazine conversion kit for the Remington 700 in .308 and .243 from Lucky Thirteen.
Includes a precision cut aluminium bottom metal unit and 10 round magazine. Extra magazines available separately.
No inletting required, the receiver grade 6061 aluminium bottom metal matches the factory floorplate and stock inlet and is easy to install, with clearance for both factory and Timney aftermarket triggers.
The paddle style ambidextrous magazine release allow easy magazine release without having to release the trigger hand. A snag free design allowing easy mag changes without the risk of accidental releases which can happen on some designs with forward magazine releases.
The unit was designed specifically for pillar bedded stocks and has been extensively tested with synthetic and composite stocks including Remington OEM Polymer, Hogue, Bell and Carson, GRS and Boyds. If installing into a hardwood timber stock then pillar bedding is recommended and aluminium pillars are included in the kit. Pillar bedding allows correct torque levels to be used without risk of compression, which will keep the extra weight of a larger magazine firmly held under recoil.
The magazine combines a precision CNC cut aluminium upper with a glass reinforced polymer lower. Offering a very durable feed while retaining a low weight.
