This is the Waters Rifleman (WR) detachable bottom metal (DBM) for the Steyr SSG 69 and Steyr Model L series.
Drop in fit, allows use of the popular AICS Short Action magazine format available in a variety of sizes, instead of the plastic rotary type which can sometimes suffer with age.
WR have been making SSG DBMs for over 20 years in different box magazine fitments, the latest AICS version incorporates an angled feed to reduce bolt cycling resistance.

Fits the following models to replace factory plastic 'bottom metal' using rotary side squeeze magazines:
- Steyr SSG 69 .308
- Steyr Model L .308
- Steyr Model L .243
- Steyr Model L .22-250
Please note: this is not compatible with early model SSG and Model L rifles with a magazine release catch mounted on the trigger guard (rear locking magazines).
