Austrian pistol manufacturer Glock have achieved almost legendary status for their ultra reliable range of polymer framed handguns.
As innovative as the pistol the Glock factory magazines featured the first use of a steel liner frame overmoulded with a polymer casing, allowing for a extremely durable but lightweight magazine capable of holding a double stack of rounds under strong spring pressure without bulging.
More recently magazines experts Magpul have made use of advanced polymers to create all polymer magazine types that are even lighter.
